First, apologies for the tardy update. I had meant to get this review up earlier but I kinda didn't feel like doing much with a cold. Better late than never and all that.

Anyway, the point of this post is something else entirely. You might have noticed that almost every review since our return has been given a gold or silver award.

No, we're not getting soft in our old age (and man, is this site getting old!). Fact is that Waku Waku 7 and Tekkon Kinkreet are just that great, and it my view the more people who know this the better.

We were out of action for a long while, and in that time we've played, read and watched a lot of thing. Some of them good, some of them awesome and some of them pretty damn crap. It's just that the urge to write down our anger/disappointment or whatever just isn't as compelling as telling everyone how fantastic Valkyria Chronicles is.

So, I apologise if some of it comes across as gushing twaddle. We'll get to the bottom of the barrel eventually.
