Review - Dark Edge Volume 7 David Rasmussen, 15th Jun 08
Oh the horror of it all, reviewing another horror title. Let alone one as long along as this one… but review it I will as I once again tackle the horror of horror titles.
I really can’t remember when I last did a horror review, and Manhunt 2 doesn’t count as it’s more violence than horror. But here we are, with a fresh horror title staring us in the face… so what is up with it? Let’s find out.
First off, yes, you should at least get Volume 6 before this one, if not start the entire series from the first volume, as you will not have an ide...
Review - Magic Lover’s Tower Volume 1 & 2 David Rasmussen, 15th Jun 08
Look, I love a good romance book as much as the next love struck fool out there, nothing wrong with that. But occasionally I would like to read something that is abit of an innovation to the concept (now really, is that too much to ask?)
So when I heard of this title, Magic Lover’s Tower, it had this fanciful magical fantasy realm sounding title and I thought it might be the next big romantic title to hit… little did I know it would end up challenging something else… mainly my love of this genre.
Roxanne (Roxxxxxxaaannnneee…. Oh, wait, th...
Review - Gold Digger Color Remix #1 to #4 David Rasmussen, 15th Jun 08
Dig back into your collective consciousness to the last time you remember Adam Warren actually doing anything Dirty Pair rel -- huh? Oh, you actually have to have had read Adam Warren’s Dirty Pair before you can recollect back to when… gotcha.
At the end of his tenure, before he was lobotomized and became a one page wonder over at what is now the second Official Playstation Magazine (formerly the unofficial magazine known as PSM) he used to do so much more… like actual titles… long titles… like his take on the Dirty Pair series. Well, one of...
Review - Serenity Volume 7 to 10 David Rasmussen, 15th Jun 08
Way back when, while Realbuzz Studios was partners with Barbour Publishing, plans were underway to kickstart the first major spinoff for Serenity. After it’s successful run with the original six volume series (of which the finale review covering Volumes 3 to 6 is coming shortly) the powers that be of Realbuzz that worked on Serenity (Mr. Dixon and Mr. Schulman) were ready to launch “Life! Camera! Action! Starring Serenity” into publishing life… but as you know just prior to the second launch of Realbuzz with Barbour the two companies parted way...
Review - Goofyfoot Gurl Volume 5 David Rasmussen, 7th Jun 08
When the original 4 volume set came out last year I said this was one of the two things that showed off the power of Realbuzz Studios’ potential, and it’s seriousness in being a powerhouse of it’s genre (faith based comic/manga/AmeriManga/OELManga) (the other being, of course, Serenity). Well it’s 2008 and the second wave of titles are here.
Sorry once again to my expectations of a launch of Hits & Misses, once again that has been delayed (again) until a 2009 launch date (though this seems to not be the only launch of 2008 as word has it the...

Article - First Look at Archangel (The Comic and the Controversy) David Rasmussen, 29th Dec 07
It took a little looking, but thanks to Reuters News Service from New York and Fixed Noise… I mean FOX News… here’s your first look at the controversial anti-sex predator comic “Archangel”.

Article - Who Wants To Be A Superhero? Featuring Feedback David Rasmussen, 27th Aug 07
Oh, bah humbug. Sci-Fi Channel is dipping back into the comics again.
Or at least I think they’ve been doing it again. I haven’t been in the mainstream much so I have no idea if Sci-Fi Channel is even trying to do anything in comics since… since… well I haven’t seen anything I really had a lot to s...
Article - An Open Letter to ADV David Rasmussen, 25th Jun 07
Yes, technically speaking between 2005 and 2007 ADV didn’t vanish off the face of the Earth.
It might as well have though if you happened to have been one of the fans of such and such a title that went on “permanent hiatus” between the two years. Aria, Gunslinger Girl, Desert Coral, whatever.
Of c...
