If you haven't guessed already, I'm just reviewing whatever Neo Geo game happens to end up in my cab at the time. And right now it's KoF 99's turn. It may not be the most popular game in the series, but I kinda have a soft spot for it. It's hard to believe that it's a decade old now, and how little the series and fighting games as a whole have really progressed in the years since. Sure, SF IV might look pretty, but is it really that much different? Which is exactly why it's worth looking back at games like this. See what you think.
