The first was fairly enjoyable, even if it wasn't as good as some of his other films. I take it Del Toro is directing again?

And have you seen the animated series?

Not the series, but the animated movie... seriously liked it.

Wasn't really into Hellboy before, but it seems they're doing it
how it should be done and I thoroughly enjoyed the first film...

and i cant remember his name, but the dude who plays hellboy
does a damn fine job.

Good man. Hellboy has a lot more substance to it if you ask me. Plus it suits his style better. Actually looking forward to this one more than I would have otherwise, knowing he's directing.

really good, the set pieces and the costume designs are bloody awesome...

the angel of death, the troll market... think its all like animatronics and puppets and costumes. very little.. CGI.

very impressive/

kinda reminded me of the dark crystal/labyrinth.

Watched the original on 5 the other night. Might be blasphemy, but I think I actually prefer it to the comics...

I like them both for different ways and I don't know if I could say that I liked one of the movies more than the other. When HBII was first coming out and when I first saw it I think I thought it was supperior and I would probably say that it was supperior at that time.It was werid watching the first film after seeing the second film for the first time.

2 was on a much broader scale. loved the troll town etc. but i didnt like the bad guy or the overall story,
but since he killed rasputin in number 1, i guess there was nowhere else to go.
