Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu volume 4 Full metal mania!

This fourth volume in the series was not the best but it does bring the series to a nice ending. Three more episodes of crazy hilarity and non-stop mania.

The episodes feature much of the same content of the previous volumes, and while a little repetitive it is not by any means old material. I really enjoyed this volume on first watching.

The first episode is featuring a territory dispute between 2 yakuza gangs. Sousuke is recruited when the yakuza boss is too poorly to shape up his men to route the new gang muscling in on his territory, but they wouldn’t take a child seriously, the easiest way to gain their respect was to don his Bonta-kun tactical armour and give them a seeing too.
After discovering his failure in trying to market Bonta-kun clones for military and law enforcement use. Sousuke is left with a squad of suits ready to be used by the still outmatched yakuza punks.
You all know where this is going so ill put you out of you misery, yes a group of Bonta-kun mechs take over the town to re-establish their grip on the territory.

Episode 11 is a titillating episode where all the groups in school enter a competition to seduce the most girls; at stakes is the most sought after room for after school groups.

Episode 12 is probably the best in the series; its hilarious after a biological weapon is released accidentally in the school during a self imposed quarantine the madness of the classmates is increased as everyone fears for their life. Luckily all is not what it seems as Sousuke's order for the biological weapon was incorrectly filled and it turns out that the classmates lives at not the thing they should be worried about, but rather their modesty.

Overall this series has been a bout of innocent fun, I enjoyed it very much, but it is not the most amusing series out there. It does not match up to Azumanga Daioh or magical shopping arcade: Abenobashi. But that does not mean it isn’t worth getting or watching. It is well worth watching especially if you are a fan of full metal panic.
