D.N. Angel

The antithesis of dark is light, that's probably one of the most contrasting things in life. To compare, life or death, black or white, good or bad, what do these things mean? Well, it's probably some-what a cliche story but D.N Angel is about bad verses good. Though the best thing I liked about D.N Angel is that the protagonist is the bad guy. What I mean by this, I'll explain.

The anime starts out pretty awesome, you see an epic battle between two angels, ones named Dark and the other is Krad. Dark is the angel with purple eyes, purple hair (awesome bangs), and pitch black wings. Krad being the antithesis wears basically white clothing, blonde hair almost the same style as Dark and has angelic white wings. The battle ends with a flash and you are introduced to a calmer setting of Daisuke Niwa’s house. It was on his fourteen birthday that his destiny has changed. When he got his heart broken by Risa Harada, the girl of his dreams, he was devastated. All alone by himself depressed, and when the thought of Risa comes to his mind, his body begins to change and feel weird. No, this is not when he hits puberty, it's actually when his body changes into the incredible phantom of thieves, "Dark". So join the fun, as you are take a journey of being a thief and steal precious and valuable items with Dark.

I enjoyed watching D.N Angel as much as writing this review. It's pretty enjoyable to watch the "steal of the week" for each episode. The storyline with Dark and Krad is pretty good too; also the character development is satisfactory. You'll probably be watching a lot of episodes where Dark just steals an artifact or items in the beginning, then later it gets a little more in-depth as it talks about Daisuke's love relationship. It also sheds some light on Dark's past and towards the end you are introduce with the final battle of Krad and Dark. If you pay attention, the battle near the end is the exact same as how they start the anime. So the beginning of the series foreshadows the final battle, I thought that was pretty original, for anime anyways. One of the best details that D.N Angel had was the animation, the computer graphics for the scenery, wings, and magic stuff was awesome, plus some of the drawings are well done too. I think this anime is worth checking out, it's exciting and enjoyable. It's not the best but it's surely not the worst, some things in the series could be improved but I think this anime was well made. So, D.N. Angel would probably deserve a grade of above average, since it's enjoyable and fun.

Conclusion: You should go and watch this anime since its well worth your time. There is good comedy, interesting fights, and awesome characters. So why not watch?
