"Dark" is a hardcore adult anime/erotic rape fantasy story, released through the Vanilla Series company. It stars a male student name Shinji Yagami who has heard rumors about a internet web site featuring pictures of women being raped. What's more the young women are students of the same campus. When his other male friend (Satoshi), gives him the web address to see the pictures of the women being raped. he goes to the site, an guess what, he finds himself erotically aroused by the stills of young female students in bondage and rape. Guided by the no good Satoshi who hints to him that is great fun to rape girls and that "sex means you can do anything you want to the other person", Shinji decides to make one of the female students his target. We see him throw her on the bed as she pleads with him, before you know it, her clothes are taken off and Shinji starts to perform oral sex on her against her will, using his tounge on her most intimate part, she moans and groans in both fear, unwanted sexual arrousal, and pain. The anime pulls no punches, you see very clean shaven sexual organs being inserted into one another right up to and including sexual fluid discharges. During the course of the rapes, Shinji leaves a small video camera running on a tripod. This is so not only the video can be watched, but it can be used to blackmail the female into not reporting the crime to the authorities. Shinji even progresses to the point of inserting foreign objects into the women he rapes.

The producers of the anime itself try to make rape look good, and not like the brutal crime it actually is in real life. They put a lot of erotic overtones in it. For instance they would often focus on the woman facial expressions and the sounds of her moaning and groaning, opposed to screaming. Despite rape being a crime, it's also a sexual fantasy of many men and women and that is what angle I think the producers of "Dark" where trying to state here. You might wonder why doesnot the females ever even report the rapes. The subject of reporting it is brought up in the story, but it seems the videotaping and the pictures are enough to keep the young women from reporting the crime. The story also seems to focus on the problems that the rapist/student, Shinji, has. For example he seems to be very irritable with his female friends and inpudent when it comes to normal sex.Sotoshi. the male friend who got him in this, grew more depraved as the anime went along. He first suggested and had Shinji join in selected a female rape target and double teaming her (gang raping). There they use several types of toys on her too. Even the a female teacher at the school was not spared being a target from these two raping. rampaging, students. Moreover, Shinji even gets one of his girlfriends, whom he raped earlier, to agree to seduce another female into an ambush.

The story plot is simple, but at least "Dark" has a story line. The girls are drawn fairly sexy looking mostly in short skirts, several with waistlenght hair. You get 2.0 stereo sound. The guys are normal, thin, young men in suits that only remove their clothing when it time for a sexual encounter. Rape is the theme, but the push is more towards fantasy rape which is good. I recomend for those who like a to see a no hold barred sexual graphic sexual fantasy. The story starts to reach a climax when one of the females, a childhood friend of Shinji, begins to suspect he may be involved in the string of rumored campus rapes. "Dark" is the the darker side of hentia photos given life through digital filming and non consenual sex galore! Like all things, it comes to an end eventually!
