Darn it, Barbara! It's one of Japan's flaming bags again!

I wanted to like this series. I really did. In theory, it sounded good. However, just like aforementioned flaming bags, Big O explodes unnecessarily in your face, and leaves behind an horrid odor of crappiness.

So this guy gets a big robot he uses to fight...evil. Yeah. This show makes no sense. Worse than the contrived plot is the choice in characters. A pretty boy, a butler, and an android sound cool, don't they? I wish, I wish, I wish it was true. Quite frankly, the first two are a joke, and the android's just a bore. Having a character with little or no emotion is a big risk, and Big O just can't put enough depth into this android to make me feel sorry for her, or anything for that matter. What? You say you might love your master? I'm not convinced. Back of the line, sister.

This series seems to have made a conscious effort to do everything wrong that it possibly can. Well, if that was the intent, congratulations, boys. You should be proud of your steaming pile...you sick bastards.
